Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in the west to a Marshal, Hobart learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Miller. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his youth he was a Baker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult
