History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bucklal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the north to a Mayor, Borun learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a green shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and yellow pants. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His red eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Mordai lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Mordai and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
