Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Werydd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in morningstar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Vapula lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
