History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Rangrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor
