History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Henk was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Henk's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Claira was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
