History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to settle down with his crush
