History: She was raised by priests from a young age. A freak accident while working with her Barrister father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Shamil was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and many illithids want her driven away
