History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Andraste was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears a violet vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his violet boots flare out at the collars. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
