History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Dee learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. After coming to the age of reason, Mastema took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Map Maker for the past few years.
