History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shautha fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He worked as a nervous Servant and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
