History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Barakas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Barakas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
