History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is typically in his Engraver uniform. His brass crest is braided into rings. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Donaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Donaar. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
