Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Spring fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Thorin was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Thorin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Smoking does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
