Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: She was born into a rich family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Werydd and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is greedy.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
