History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to be a miller again

Description: She wears an entirely pastel suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes, and she perpetually has her sword ready. She keeps her gray fur in a flapper bob. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: Shifting speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He got into the Spy business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has worked as a Spy like his father before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
