History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Isabella studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
