Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
