History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Banker father left her crippled. She became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born into a rich family. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
