History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and a wedding ring on his right hand. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Slave Trader business.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Slave Trader job and began his own company from there.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carlin. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
