History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has achieved small success as a Detective.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered orcs who tried to eat her hand. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud
