Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Andraste was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Andraste fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born in the east. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Layabout.
