Personality: Sarai is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Sarai enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Rolen has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Azzakh learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.
