Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
