History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
