He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Balam reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Barrister profession.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has money and likes to spend it
