History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Norkruuth was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Donaar was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Donaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
