Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When Paela reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: Windy was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart.
