She has golden hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Katherine grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Katherine. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

His brown eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker grey hat.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many giants want her driven away

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Locksmith profession.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
