Description: A man of a pale complexion, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting brigands, the young Symma began to lead the lost caravan. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She takes great joy in being the best Locksmith in town.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
