Personality: Emerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Biri was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Bather mother left her crippled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and to clean up the streets
