History: Alvyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alvyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a Sculptor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor mother left him crippled. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nelkin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
