History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Gynk enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Gynk was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gynk's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gynk was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gynk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gynk. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
