History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Balam was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Sculptor like his father before him.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has achieved small success as a Mortician.
