History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Jo lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
