Description: This tall, slender man wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His hair is cut close to his head. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tanglar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Tanglar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Helja was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Helja's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
