Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He is physically well-built. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mortician profession.
History: Broce hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: He prefers to wear red clothing when he does not wear armor, and carries halberds. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small red hat.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nelkin embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his kukri with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He carries a battered lance and tarnished kukri as well. His silver hair is still thick. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Oloric hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
