History: Fragrant was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
