History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Nalaed's homeland. Nalaed decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her singing dream.
