History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born in a small forest village. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
