History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Brewer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He is a Brewer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Ur-Edin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to end his boredom
