History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aasathra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Aasathra and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
