History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Thorpe has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery, and he perpetually has his sickle ready. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
