Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Alston is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Alston and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
