Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Valida was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She became a Laborer soon after.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Thoradin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he's looking for his big break

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Oriel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Laborer like her father before her.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.
