History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Raam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Seamstress for hire.

Personality: Lance speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job
