History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Harriet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Silgre embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
