History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Bryseis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Bryseis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
