Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. Jacoba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Apothecary.
