History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Veloptima abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Kipper learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Shepherd kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Keyleth embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east to a Apothecary, Keyleth learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
