History: Born in the south to a Marshal, Gynk learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Alice hails from a village terrorized by giants. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Alice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and an old rival family wants him found

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.
